Kevin has thirty-five years’ experience in healthcare, encompassing clinical and claims management for workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability areas. He holds numerous licenses and certifications including Nursing, Disability Management and Rehabilitation. He has an extensive speaking background, conducting educational programs for claims executives, claims handlers, case managers, and others involved in administration and management. Education: BSN from The State University of New York, College at Brockport. Introduction & Current Experience: He has over 35 years of experience in healthcare, encompassing clinical and claims management for workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability. His background includes medical case management of complex and catastrophic injuries and long-term disabilities. He applies his combined knowledge and experience to assist organizations in better managing and controlling costs associated with complex injury claims for the best-possible outcomes. As a well-recognized participant and officer for local, regional, and national organizations and associations, Kevin has delivered many engaging topics and sessions at regional, state and national conferences, including PRIMA, SEAK, WCI360’s Florida Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference, National CMSA, National Work Comp and Disability Management Conference, National RIMS and other organizations aimed at educating claims and nurse case management professionals. In addition, his articles have appeared in numerous publications, including Public Risk, National Underwriter, Business Insurance, and The Self Insurer.

TEACHING: Dr. Reed is primarily involved in facilitating experiential learning in the undergraduate nursing program. Additionally, she designed and teaches a pre-nursing elective on cross-cultural communications in healthcare.
RESEARCH: Dr. Reed’s scholarship focuses on three areas: developing professional development activities of international nurses in SE Asia, studying health disparities among international students attending US universities, and creating learning strategies which promote heightened engagement & understanding among nursing students.
SERVICE: Dr. Reed has a vision and passion for global nursing education. She was the first nurse to receive a Fulbright Scholar Award to Cambodia in 2013-2014. She has sustained the partnerships that she built by returning to Cambodia when possible, using her personal time and resources, to advocate for advancements in global nursing education.

Adam Francis MSN, RN is a well-respected leader in healthcare with over 18 years of healthcare experience. Adam began his healthcare journey as an inpatient rehabilitation technician at Mayo Clinic Florida. From there he finished nursing school and started working in the solid organ transplant unit where he moved up the ranks from a relief charge RN, charge RN to interim nurse manager. Adam then took on the role of nurse manager for a 28-bed Med/Surg unit where he fostered a culture of teamwork, pathway to excellence nursing care and proved successful in recruitment and retention of 8% turnover. When Covid emerged in 2020, Adam had the opportunity to take on a second 28-bed unit, which transformed into the Covid unit for Mayo Clinic Florida. Through servant and transformational leadership, Adam was able to maintain high quality care, patient and staff satisfaction during unsettling times. These experiences and excellent outcomes further bolstered Adam’s reputation in the North Florida region that provided the opportunity to become the Director of Nursing for Brooks Rehabilitation new 60 bed freestanding hospital. For the last year, Adam and team have exceeded all expectations of this new hospital build and quickly filled their census to provide care for complex patients such as spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke and solid organ transplant patients.

Stephanie Day, MHA, RN, BSN

Stephanie Day MHA, BSN, RN is an accomplished leader in healthcare with over 9 years of healthcare experience. Stephanie started her nursing career at the University of Kentucky Level I trauma center in the intensive care unit. During this time, she developed strong critical thinking skills and started her path toward leadership with involvement in councils and as a charge nurse. After moving to Jacksonville, FL, she worked at Mayo Clinic caring for ICU patients ranging for solid organ transplant, complex neurosurgery, and stroke among other critical care specialties. She gained valuable experience with additional leadership opportunities and completed her Master of Health Administration Program. During this time, she developed relationships through networking which led to an opportunity to take on an Assistant Nurse Manager role at Brooks Rehabilitation. In this new role, she flourished and showed her ability to gain trust and respect from her employees leading to another opportunity within Brooks to become a Nurse Manager of a new freestanding 60-bed rehabilitation hospital. Since the opening of this hospital in April of 2022, she has proven herself as a change management and transformational leader with great patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Dr. Lisa has always been passionate about the brain's potential as one of the most important healing tools in the fight against many health conditions. This passion led her to the creation of Neurocity Junction. As founder and CEO, Dr. Huseboe developed and executed a state of the art facility which specializes in helping patients unlock their brain's potential to reorganize and rewire itself by creating new neural pathways called neuroplasticity.
As a graduate of Life University, she obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Masters in Sport Health Science. In the following years she continued her research on various brain conditions such as Traumatic Brain Injury, Alzheimer's, Depression and Autism, which led her in developing a comprehensive and unique brain treatment now known as Cognitive Circuit Training (R) . This treatment is currently used at Neurocity Junction for many conditions, however primarily treating a rapid growing issue in personal injury; mTBI/ concussions.

Yvette Salas, MSN, CRRN, an infection preventionist and hospital educator at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Miami, She earned her master’s degree in nursing, with a specialty in health care policy, from Chamberlain University in 2020. Yvette is one of two recipients of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) 2022 Nurse in Washington Internship (NIWI) Scholarship. The NIWI Scholarship is designed to educate and empower nurses to become directly involved with and influence policy at the local and national levels. She is the ARN Nurse Educator Role Award winner for 2023. Yvette is currently the Health Policy Chair for FSARN.

Dr. Lee is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with the UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health's Department of Surgery and the Breast Care Center at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He is dual board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is recognized as a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He received his college and medical school degree at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine BS/MD program. He then completed a general surgery residency with Orlando Health, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. While at ORMC, Dr. Lee served as an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor. Dr. Lee completed a second residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida / H Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Institute Program. Additionally, he served as Administrative Chief Resident for three years in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Lee specializes in complex reconstruction of oncological and traumatic defects in adults and pediatric patients. His expertise includes microvascular reconstruction, breast reconstruction with perforator free flaps, head and neck reconstruction, pediatric plastic surgery and aesthetic surgery. He serves as faculty with the position of Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery with University of Central Florida and Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery with Florida State University. He is a Clinical Affiliate with Nova Southeastern University. He also teaches within the Medical Education Department for the general surgery/orthopedic residencies.

Dr. Hussain completed her internship in General Surgery and residency In Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is double Board-Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Hussain is also fluent in Spanish. ​​Dr. Hussain has been selected by peers as a one of American’s Top Physicians, Orlando’s Top Doctors, Orlando's Elite Doctor and Women Who Move The City.​ Dr Hussain offers evaluation and non-opioid treatment of painful conditions, Botox® injections for Migraines and other conditions, electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS nerve and muscle testing), joint and spinal injections and under X rays and U/S guidance and regenerative medicine with the latest technology in high-quality Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and image-guided injections.
Alison Fletcher, MD

Dr. Fletcher is in practice at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, an affiliate of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She also serves as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Nephrology at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Fletcher graduated with her Associate Degree from Broward Community College in 2002, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University in 2004. She earned her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2008 and completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in nephrology at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2011 and 2013, respectively. An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in nephrology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
